Aim: How can we use a number line to compare two numbers?

Do Now: Copy the number line in your notes. Place the numbers on the line where they belong. (-2.5 , 5 1/4, 7.33, -6 2/3)
Classwork: We examined number lines and thermometers to build our number sense and understanding of rational numbers. Students worked with their desk partners to look distances on number lines between numbers and make comparisons.
