AIM: How are the multiplication and division of integers related?

Classwork: We used fact families to see the relationship that exists between multiplication and division of integers. This helped us draw connections to indentify the division algorithm: [pos. divided by a pos. = pos. ; pos. divided by a neg. = neg. ; neg. divided by a neg. = pos. ; neg. divided by a pos. = neg.] . We also used fact families to prove why you cannot divide by zero in mathematics.
