How many minutes will it take him to grade 30 quizzes? Explain your thinking. Classwork: We investigated proportional reasoning and how it can be used, in conjunction with scaling, to solve problems. When writing proportions, start by writing the proportion in words. This will help to keep your work organized. Then substitute the values (and a variable) into their appropriate locations. Solve the proportion by using scale factors or cross-multiplication. Announcements: There will be a quiz Wednesday, November 1.
