AIM: How can we find measures of unknown angles that are not complementary or supplementary?
HW: 7-3 wksht (online)
Given a and b are numbers, and a+b=180, which statements also must be true?
a=90 and b=90
Yesterday we learned that complementary angles are two angles that add to make 90 degrees. We also learned that supplementaryangles are two angles that add to make 180 degrees.
Today, we worked on some activities to illustrate the idea of vertical angles. Vertical angles are formed when two lines intersect. They are opposite each other and are congruent (of equal measure).
